Reviews for STAUNTON MAZE, STAUNTON

Great way to spend a few hours with friends or family. The organisation was slick as visitors are fed into the maze in timed slots to avoid overcrowding. Therefore, you must book in advance. There are three separate, numbered mazes each harder than the previous one. Leaflets and sticker sheets contain challenges to be met in each maze. All the documentation is themed and professionally designed & printed. A nice touch is that pencils are provided. There’s a small gift for each completed booklet which is chosen from a selection in the reception tent. Ice creams are also available for sale here; prices are high but not excessive. All the staff were welcoming, efficient and great with the young people. Initially I was dubious about the value for money but everyone in our varied age group had a great time. The older kids want to come again. There is no shelter from the sun within the reception play area or the mazes so try to pick a cloudy day, go early or takes hats and sunscreen. Definitely bring water. The car park is reasonably big and, as visits are booked in and staggered, it doesn’t fill up.
